Captain Pete Wheeler

Captain Pete is a true local captain – not a transplant.  Born and raised on the shoreline, he has been operating his business full time, since 1977. He knows these waters, he knows where the fish run, and he will always put you in the strike zone.

Crew
First Mate John Wheeler is a colorful character, who has been first mate on the Sea Sprite for 15 years. He holds a BA in Exercise Science, and is wonderful with children and beginners. He winters in Austin, Texas.

First Mate Michael Parks has been with Sea Sprite nine years and has put himself through college, working on the Sea Sprite. An avid fisherman, Michael brings a degree of professionalism second-to-none to the Sea Sprite. Michael has a BAS in History, and teaches in North Hampton, Massachusetts.

First Mate/Captain Chris Staab is Captain Pete’s weekend mate and backup captain. He has been with the Sea Sprite for more than five years. An avid sportsman and expert in all types of fishing, Chris holds a 100-ton Masters License and has a BA in Marine Biology....

 Captain Jim Marshall   has been with Sea Sprite over 30 years! Jim has his Masters license and fills in whenever Capt. Pete needs a day off..........we are very fortunate to have a skipper of Jim's caliber and knowledge !!
